Las mariquitas, al igual que muchos otros seres vivos no se dejan ver en invierno porque hibernan.

We can’t see ladybirds in Winter because they hibernate, as many other living beings.

Las mariquitas son una de las mejores aliadas de nuestra huerta, ya que se alimentan de pulgones por lo que ayudan a controlar esta plaga, de hecho, muchos agricultores optan por utilizarlas como insecticida natural.

Ladybirds are one of the best friends of our vegetable garden, because they fed on aphids so they help to control the infestation, in fact, many farmers use them as a natural insecticide.

 Tienen pocos depredadores porque al igual que ocurre con otros muchos insectos sus colores llamativos avisan a otros animales de que o son venenosos, o saben mal.

 They have few predators, as many others insects, their bright colours warn other animals that they are poisonous or have a bad taste.
